Yvonne joined the Cariloop Team in August 2020 and serves as a bi-lingual Care Coach-Spanish. Hablo Español! She comes with more than 13 years of healthcare experience as a medical interpreter in clinics and hospitals and as a patient navigator for the American Cancer Society at a cancer center.

Yvonne is originally from New York and graduated with a BS-Biology at Rutgers University, NJ and when she moved to Milwaukee, she pursued a Masters in Spanish Translation and enjoys reading and writing in Spanish. She has visited Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Guatemala and loves learning all about Latin America. Besides raising two children, Yvonne’s caretaking experience was with her elderly father, especially when he was diagnosed with cancer. She appreciates the caregiver in all of us. Yvonne lives in Milwaukee Wisconsin and spends time with her partner Greg, watching movies, news- English, and Spanish, taking walks, and visiting with both of their young adult children, 4 in total.
