Meadow joined Cariloop as a Care coach in January 2021. Meadow is a medical social worker, with 15 years of experience in the medical field. She is a bachelor’s level social worker, with a fellowship in gerontology and chronic illness. She is also a certified patient navigator through the Academy of Oncology Nurse and Patient Navigators. Meadow is currently completing her Master’s degree in Social Work, with an emphasis in Medical Social Work and Gerontology.
Meadow has worked with individuals and families through all areas of caregiving, beginning in long term care and memory care. From there she moved to hospice, and home health, where she spent several years. After this Meadow worked in oncology for 4 years, first in the inpatient cancer wing, and then with inpatient and outpatient cancer patients as an American Cancer Society patient navigator. Most recently she has worked with young children and families in an Early Head Start program, with a focus on health and wellness promotion and disabilities management. Meadow’s favorite part of every job is working closely with families and assisting with difficult situations.
Meadow serves as the Junior Chair of the Montana Cancer Coalition, working to improve the lives of cancer survivors across the state of Montana. She is also a board member of Not In Our Town, a community organization that works to promote an inclusive community, free of hatred and intolerance.
Meadow resides in Montana with her husband, and three children, as well as her large extended family. When she isn’t working, you’ll find her road-tripping, especially to National Parks, baking and decorating cakes or other sweets, and hiding in the mountains of Montana as often as possible.
