Kari has over twelve years of nursing and healthcare experience. She started out her career in a long-term care setting where she built so many memorable relationships. She took pride in knowing that the residents and their loved ones trusted her with their care. She learned how to handle pressure, collaborate with doctors, and use her nursing judgment. She is a dedicated, reliable and ambitious person and she has a passion for providing quality care to others.
After three wonderful years in a nursing home, she ventured to a very busy Pediatric office where she found her home for eight years. Having children of her own, this was a great experience for her and allowed her to be home on weekends and holidays. She enjoyed providing support to families and working with them to address concerns, fears, problems and options.
She and her husband Scott have three children, ages 17, 13 and 8. They reside in Ohio where they enjoy spending many weekends at Kings Island when the weather allows. They adore the rollercoasters and water rides. When the heat is too much, they find pleasure in relaxing at the water park.
They are active in their church as she serves on the Children’s Ministry and the Guest Experience Team and her husband serves on the Leadership Team where he leads the Missions Team. Their church supports Mission Haiti Medical and she is blessed to have been there twice on mission trips. She has the heart to serve and strives to make a difference in other’s lives.
