Chris’ Story
Chris Sanders joined Cariloop in 2018 as the Vice President of Strategic Development. Chris grew up in Flower Mound, TX and played college football as a Quarterback for Southern Methodist University in Dallas as well as The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. After his college football days were over, Chris was fortunate to have the opportunity to play in the National Football League (NFL) and Arena Football League (AFL) for the first 6 years post-graduation.
After Chris departed from the world of athletics, he moved into a unique space in the healthcare industry working for a company called Management Network Systems (MNS), a firm that acts as an intermediary between Healthcare Payers and Skilled Nursing Facilities. As Chris became more familiar with the long-term care space over his 6-year tenure with MNS, he developed a strong passion and interest in technologies that would assist patients, caregivers, and families with their unique needs. That interest ended up colliding with another passion of his in 2017 after Chris attended an NFL Player Care Foundation Mind & Body Screening, where he saw how a platform like Cariloop could help former NFL families care for their loved ones. It was also in 2017 when Chris’ own family had a chance to rely on Cariloop’s Care Coaches to assist them with caring for two of their family members.
Chris currently lives in Frisco, TX with his wife and their two kids. When he’s not working with employers to implement Cariloop’s program for their team members, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, sampling Russian River Red Wines, snowboarding, supporting Former NFL Players and Veterans, and giving back to those that helped him along the way.
