As one of Cariloop’s Care Coaches, Brenda brings over 25 years of healthcare, ministry, coaching, and change management experience. Her passion is to be a positive resource to serve others, reflected by her commitment to family members and friends as they experienced the caregiving role. In addition, she has personally walked through the caregiving experience; first, caring for her mother during end-stage heart disease, and subsequently, caring for her late husband following a late-stage cancer diagnosis. Both experiences gave her an “insiders look” into the caregiving journey and served to further broaden her understanding of the many challenges faced by caregivers.
Brenda earned her Bachelor’s degree from Drury University and Master’s degree from Southern Methodist University; both degrees focused on communication and organizational dynamics. She is also certified in Art of Communication (relationship-based communication) and Change Management and sees herself as a life-long learner.
Brenda enjoys gardening, nature photography, DIY home projects, and spending time with family and friends. She currently serves on her community’s HOA Board of Directors and is a proud dog mom to her mini golden doodle, Cali Anne, who keeps life fun and full of entertaining moments.
