Alamaze’s Story
Alamaze Harrison joined the Cariloop team in 2019 and serves as a Care Coach. Alamaze has over 15 years of experience working in the healthcare field. She earned her degree in Food & Nutrition at Plattsburgh State University of New York and then completed her Dietetic Internship at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. She is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and she is Licensed by Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (LDN). She started her career at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, TX as a Clinical Dietitian; after which she returned home to Barbados where she worked at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. It was here, that her love for Pediatric Nutrition bloomed as she served as a consultant on various medical and surgical teams including PICU and NICU. After her time working in Barbados, Alamaze worked in Long Term Care in Catonsville, MD and a Rehabilitation Hospital in Montgomery, AL.
When Alamaze is not working, she is volunteering at The Montessori Academy of Arlington where her two small children attend. She enjoys cooking, traveling and dancing.
